I’m about to unleash Lover’s Retreat to the world. I’m doing another call to anyone who would like to be a Beta Reader for me? “I might be a little, tiny bit afraid of this, of how you make me feel.”

“And how’s that?”

“Out of control. Needy.” She licked her lips. “I want to keep kissing you and not think anymore.”

He dragged his thumb along the curve of her neck. “Good.” Leaning down, he pressed his mouth to hers. “When you want it bad enough that it hurts, when you can’t bear not having me inside you, then you’ll be ready.” Pulling back, he released her. “But that’s not tonight. Unfortunately.”

About the Author

Happy Father’s Day, Mom!

I love how this post has been wrote. So much truth, just a reminder that if you are raised by just a woman you’re more than fine! My mum has done a great job with my sisters and I. She said the same thing your mum said to me about having both parents. Salute to all the mama’s handling business on their own. Such a sweet reminder of a woman’s strength when need be. Thanks for sharing. And I love you Mum!

I’m limbering up for July’s marathon month of writing, with fellow writers around the world. I’m excited to take part in National Novel Writing month for the second time! I’ve updated my profile and jumped into a writing camp.  I just clicked “surprise me with random cabin mates.” This time I don’t care what group/camp I’m assigned to. I look forward to motivating, and being motivated by random writers around the world in my camp. I’ve set my goal : write book #3 of my romance series, predicting about 25,000 words for this short story. Saturday night… it’s show time!

Good Morning, It Can Wait Until Monday!: Friday Feeling… What You Up To? #fridayfeeling #weekend

 Is it Friday yet in your part of the world? If so that’s right, we’ve made it through another week guys. It’s only 8:00 a.m London time, but to quote the Russian Femme Fatale,  I really enjoyed writing so much for  writing for week 5’s short story…

Already I feel like celebrating the fact, I made it through a very busy week, with a shot. I’ll try and hold out until midday at least 🙂 . It’s been a crazy week of trying to meet deadlines, working, caring for the family, trying to de-clutter / clean the house and in between to sleep. Noticed I used “try” only half of this I actually got done.

What are you up to this weekend? What’s on the to – do list? Here’s mine

  1. Finalise the last chapter of Lover’s Retreat, hand the manuscript to my editor and beta readers. I’ve done it! Knocked out 30,000 odd words whoop whoop! .. now vhere vodka?
  2. Paint my nails (finally).
  3. De-clutter a room in the house ( finally).
  4. Start working on the very special twist Didi and I have planned for Kim and Did’s Suspenseful Collection. 
  5. Outline  in a bit more detail, the short story idea I have for book three of my Romance Set In Paradise Series.
  6. Do some washing or laundry if you’re one of my American Friends.
  7. Finish reading the short story author E Denise Billups sent me. Continue reading  author Sara Ackerman’s historical romance.
  8. Listen to some music!
  9. Write a letter to a few pen pals who think I’ve dropped off the face of the earth.

  10. Have a wonderful time hanging out with friends and family… leaving my 99 problems until Monday!

Good luck writers,  whoever you are and where ever you are in the world I wish you love and luck. Here in London I’m in the zone it’s midnight. It’s the 1st July. I’m not tired yet so I’m armed with a cheeky  glass of coke I craved it tonight, some chocolate and the radio on. Lights are low and I’m ready to go!! I wrote the last word, in the last chapter in the last paragraph of July’s new release…  it’s in my editor’s inbox. Let’s get this show on the road for July!

Lovely 5* Review on Inkitt: This Is Why I Write. Thank You Reader!#amreading

I’ll always write no matter what, or who says what for that matter. But as a published author, when you put your work out there for the world to read, love, like or hate, you’re always wondering if readers will connect with you. When they do, it’s so motivational to keep going. The late nights and lack of sleep seem worth it all over again. Not just at the time when you were so caught up in writing, you never noticed it was 3:00 am. Thank you for this lovely review reader… My response is, well I’ll take comments about scene changing as a positive. You wanted more of the characters no problem! When a writer hears this they could not be happier.  The Romance Set in Paradise Series Book #2 will be released in July, it’s a more  “slow burner” for you.

Havana Heat

I found the story exhilarating which left me wanting more of Sebastian, Malinda and the gang. Though the story did seem a bit rushed switching through the scenes, at times I found myself needing to reread bits to get the full picture. But I love Kim’s writing style and fell in love with the characters and would like to know what the future holds for Seb and Melinda. Can’t wait to read more from Kim.
