Welcome to July, let’s get to know a new male author of colour. Author Rice is an urban fiction/street lit author also known as Malik Rice. He’s signed to the publisher Lock Down Publications, and hails from the USA. Judging by his Facebook profile he has a number of readers asking him ‘when’s the next book dropping?!” Sounds good to me!

Give him a try…. you might be surprised, I’m not normally a massive reader of this genre, however I did dive into it this year, a particular author made me go ‘wow’. I’m much more open to trying new authors in this genre, let’s start with Author Rice.
