Kate needs a time-out from her unhappy marriage, so she visits her friend in Marseille; not only does she enjoy the atmosphere of Southern France, but she also meets the archetypal Tall, Dark and Handsome man – and he’s rich, too! They start a whirlwind romance, but then Kate has to go home and face the music: it’s not easy to get a divorce from her alcohol addict husband; and on top of it all, she finds out that she’s pregnant. A lovely modern-day fairy tale, told in an interesting style with different narrators; torn between gloom and doom and a deep and pure love, the heroine makes us feel with her and wish for a happy ending with her Prince Charming. Kim Knight definitely is a new talent on the rise in romantic fiction!
